Nicole is a transactional attorney who focuses her practice on commercial real estate and financing. She regularly analyzes due diligence materials, conducts title and survey reviews, drafts transaction and loan documents and coordinates closing components for complex transactions.
Prior to joining Morgenstern DeVoesick, Nicole gained experience both as an attorney and paralegal at firms representing secured lenders in consumer bankruptcy and foreclosure matters. Her experience includes reviewing title, drafting pleadings and motions, negotiating settlements and loss mitigation, and advising banks on applicable New York State and Federal law. Her experience with different stages of the lending spectrum, from origination to default servicing, allows her to understand transactions from various points of view, which aids in obtaining mutually beneficial outcomes between all parties of a lending transaction.
Nicole graduated from the University at Buffalo School of Law Magna Cum Laude, where she completed the Family Law Program, was President of the Domestic Violence Task Force and received a Clinical Legal Education Award. She completed her undergraduate degree in Business Administration at SUNY Brockport, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude, was an Honors Program Scholar and completed a semester abroad at Queen Mary University of London in London, United Kingdom.
A native of Savannah, New York, Nicole now lives in Irondequoit with her husband, three sons and daughter. She and her family enjoy traveling, taking in local parks and regularly visiting the Thousand Islands-Seaway region.
