Christine practices residential and commercial real estate. She facilitates all aspects of real estate transactions, including negotiating and drafting contracts, preparing all necessary transfer documents, resolving title disputes, and coordinating closings. She strives to streamline processes for clients and works behind-the-scenes to ensure that navigating the transaction is successful from contract execution to closing.
Christine also practices estate planning and elder law. She works closely with clients and their advisors to prepare both basic estate planning documents, such as wills, health care proxies, and power of attorney documents, as well as more complicated trusts, including special needs trusts. Her judicial externship in the Chambers of the Hon. Ava S. Raphael, Surrogate of Onondaga County and NYS Acting Justice, familiarized her with estate administration and 17-A guardianship proceedings. She assists clients and their families with preparing and submitting Medicaid applications to enter long-term care nursing homes, as well as strategizing and implementing a variety of Medicaid planning techniques to preserve assets for their loved ones.
Christine received her J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law, where she graduated with a certificate in Estate Planning. She also received B.A. degrees in both History and Psychology from Syracuse University. Since graduating from law school, Christine has called Rochester her home. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring local state parks, as well as camping and hiking around the Finger Lakes.
